The Vision

In too many neighborhoods, youth are caught between two polarizing forces — the pull of the streets and the weight of law enforcement. The HHCI Bridge Council breaks that binary.
Through structured, facilitated dialogue, young people become the architects of solutions — not the subjects of policies made without them.
And for youth who can't be there in person — those incarcerated, homebound, or remote — technology bridges the gap. Polling, virtual participation, and digital advocacy ensure every voice counts.
Youth set the agenda — issues come from the community, not from above.
All stakeholders are equals at the table — no hierarchy of authority.

Youth can submit issues or concerns to be placed on the agenda before a session, regardless of whether they can attend.
